Carstens - de Boer Art Collection

We started to collect contemporary art since 1996 / 1997, the first painting we bought was a fantastic Chinese work of Yue Minjun, the second artwork we acquired came from the South African artist Marlene Dumas.

Now our collection includes more than 200 artworks by more than 150 artists, artist from China, Korea, Indonesia, Persia, Europe and the United States.

Among the artists represented in our collection are; Cindy Sherman, Dong Wook Lee, Liu Ye, Gilbert and George, Zhang Huan, Zhao Nengzhi, Zhou Chunya, Kees van Dongen, Erwin Olaf, to name just a few.

The 'Carstens-de Boer Art Collection' is a private collection representing many of the leading Chinese avant-garde artists.

The works in our collection range across all media, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, etc.
